Oliver Robinson

University College London
Council Member until 2022

For the past 5 years I have been an MRC Career Development award fellow but have recently been awarded an MRC Senior Non Clinical fellowship to explore the translational and computational basis of anxiety disorders for the next 5 years. I now run the Anxiety Lab within the Neuroscience and Mental Health Group (which I co-direct with Jonathan Roiser) at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London. Prior to this, I spent 5 years as a visiting research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, USA (first with Wayne Drevets, then with Christian Grillon). I received a double first BA in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, UK and a Ph.D. in Psychiatry and Neuroscience from the Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge, UK under the supervision of Barbara Sahakian and Roshan Cools. I was awarded the BAP Junior Non-clinical Award in 2014.
