I am an MRC Senior Non Clinical fellow exploring the translational and computational basis of anxiety disorders. I now run the Anxiety Lab within the Neuroscience and Mental Health Group (which I co-direct with Jonathan Roiser) at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London. Prior to this, I spent 5 years as a visiting research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, USA (first with Wayne Drevets, then with Christian Grillon). I received a double first BA in Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, UK and a Ph.D. in Psychiatry and Neuroscience from the Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge, UK under the supervision of Barbara Sahakian and Roshan Cools. I was awarded the BAP Junior Non-clinical Award in 2014.
