Robert Kerwin International Conference Bursaries

Professor Rob Kerwin was instrumental in advising, supporting and acting as mentor for numerous people early in their careers in psychopharmacology. To commemorate this, the Council of the British Association for Psychopharmacology introduced annual bursaries in 2008, to be awarded in his name.

We are pleased to announce that the winners of this year's Robert Kerwin International Conference Bursaries are:

Ciaran Fitzpatrick (University of Copenhagen)
"British Association of Psychopharmacology summer meetings are great with so much knowledge and presentations on both clinical and preclinical psychopharmacology, thus allowing us all to keep up with the latest trends and challenges in the field. BAP is always a significant opportunity to network, problem-solve and of course socialize with peers"

Chandni Hindocha (University College London)
"BAP 2018 was full of the most up-to-date and cutting-edge neuroscience and psychopharmacology research; the poster session was full of young and enthusiastic researchers eager to speak about their work and the disco was, as always, top notch. I’m looking forward to Manchester 2019! "

Kristi Sawyer (King's College London)
"This was the second BAP summer meeting that I have attended, and I was equally as impressed as I was last year with the number of attendees and contributors, from speakers to poster presenters. The quality of all research being presented is so consistently high, and it’s great to hear about the breadth of research being conducted by such enthusiastic BAP members. I left the meeting feeling re-invigorated and with plenty of new ideas for avenues of research to explore."
